9 Month Check Up

Hannah's 9 month Check up was yesterday. She's a very healthy and happy baby but showed some of her true personality to the doctor. The doctor noticed that yes I do have my hands full with these two. I have had a week of fights, tantrums, and teething. I felt like my head was spinning at moments and yes you read right...teething. Hannah broke her first tooth through this week. That brought up a funny moment at the doctors office yesterday.

He asked how Hannah was doing with her teething and Mitchell says "I haven't noticed anything different." and I just snorted back "Yeah right." The doctor laughed."He's only saying what he knows when he's home." I just lifted my eyebrows and said "mhmm." There are very few moments where the girls show their true colors and when he's working he tends to come home right before Hannah's bed time. Mitchell and the doctor knowing this we all got a laugh out of it. And if you're reading this thinking that I am saying my husband isn't a great Dad, your wrong. My Husband is an awesome Dad. When he's home the girls get really excited to see him and want to cuddle and play with Dad. That being said their Daddy's little Girls.

Anywhoo...Hannah is back in the 90Th percentile for her height and 80Th for her weight. She's 29 1/2in long and 20lbs 14ounces. We're getting out her 18 months clothes now because she's out grown some of her 12 month pants. She got her first booster shot and some blood tests done. Hannah amazes us when she gets her shots. The only time she starts to cry is when she gets tired of being held down. Even for her blood being drawn out of her finger. I was sitting in the waiting room wait to hear her scream. Next thing I know Mitchell's walking out saying they we're finished. I was confused. KalieAnn at this age recognized the lab where she had to get her shots and would scream the moment we would enter. I can't tell you how different these weirdo girls are but that's to be expected.

Now I got to start figuring out how to get Hannah to drink from a Sippy cup. With KalieAnn, she wasn't on bottles. She went straight to sippy cups. Which leaves me with the question how do I get Hannah to go from bottle to sippy cup or to even drink juice out of her sippy cup. I'm sure we'll figure out in due time. Well its Friday and I am behind on the house because I caught a small cold this week. So I'm off. God Bless!!!
